 Case Snippet 

Case: A 57 y.o. female with type II diabetes is admitted for treatment of poorly controlled diabetes and acute cellulitis of the right leg and foot. She is taking naprosyn 500mg BID and hydrodocone 5mg/acetaminophen 500mg, 2 tablets every 4 hours for pain. There is induration of the right foot with shiny skin, 2+ pitting edema at the ankle, and faint pedal pulses. She is unable to detect light touch from the toe-tips to the ankles bilaterally. She lives with her husband and works part-time as a cashier at a local convenience store. She has not worked for 1 week. She admits to feeling "low" lately.
